    lbs/sq"

    lbs/sq" is directed by choreographer and performer Gerry Trentham, one of the main collaborators of The Apology Project

    Through the vision of artistic director and founder Gerry Trentham, associate and collaborating artists, and producing team, lbs/sq” maps the human body, its desires, thoughts, languages, voices, imaginations, movements and potential. Through contemporary research, creation and production, driven by a trans-disciplinary aesthetic, deeply honed artistic craft, and inclusive cultural/environmental consciousness, lbs/sq” is dedicated to reflecting, challenging, transforming and enriching our local and global community.

    CREATE: Featuring the creation, production and dissemination of new inter-arts works created by artistic director Gerry Trentham, lbs/sq” associate artists and collaborators.

    RESEARCH: Fostering environments that support research into contemporary interdisciplinary performance, including process-driven training grounds, research gatherings and mentorship opportunities.

    INNOVATE: Encouraging attention to the artist’s authentic vision, and a long-term investment in innovation and the extension of the artists’ work through integral association, dialogue and interaction with others.
